Thinking of the last moments we spent together a year ago today. You waited until I woke on the sofa before you said goodbye. I remember telling you that it was sunny but it had been snowing. I cradled you in my arms and sang a lullaby which you had sang to me so many times, while you drifted into an endless sleep. So peacefully. Later a little yellow crocus raised its head in the garden.
